Huntersville/Cornelius Animal Services provides a safe refuge for lost, abused or abandoned animals in northern Mecklenburg County until owners can be located or a suitable new home can be found. The shelter is a nonprofit organization and donations are greatly appreciated. |
We're Building a New Shelter and You Can Help!
Plans are under way to build a new facility to house and care for stray, abandoned, and abused animals in the North Mecklenburg area. The new building, on Bailey Road Park in Cornelius, will be the first animal shelter in the area with nine dog runs, an intake area, an area specifically designed for cats, a quarantine area, and administrative offices. Scheduled completion date is Spring 2005. |
